Information We Collect

Google Calendar and Google Workspace Data
When a parent connects Google Calendar, Family Control Center may access the parent’s Google account identity, calendar list, and calendar events. This information is used only to display calendars selected by the user and to display, create, or update calendar events when the user directs Family Control Center to synchronize those events.
OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage using a server-side encryption key. Google Workspace data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access is restricted to authorized server functions and the household or profile associated with the connected Google account.
Family Control Center does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, or retain or use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. If Google Workspace data is processed to provide a user-requested feature, it is used only to deliver that specific feature and not for generalized model training.
Google Workspace data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the connected calendar functionality. When a user disconnects Google Calendar, Family Control Center requests revocation of the Google authorization, clears stored access and refresh tokens, disables synchronization, and removes saved calendar selections. Users may also remove Google-imported events or request deletion of their account data through the app or the delete-account page.
Family Control Center’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
SMS Communications
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Family Control Center related to your household activity.
SMS messaging is used strictly for transactional and account-related purposes and does not include marketing or promotional content.
Users opt in by entering their phone number within the application and explicitly confirming consent via a checkbox or similar affirmative action during registration or profile setup.
These messages may include reminders for chores, events, schedules, account alerts, approvals, and household notifications.
Onix and AI Processing
When you ask Onix for help, FCC processes your instruction, relevant conversation history and household information needed to answer it. Content you choose to attach or share can include photos, screenshots, documents, text, links and supported videos. FCC sends relevant content and extracted information to OpenAI through its API to understand your request, answer questions and prepare actions for your review.
For shared videos, FCC keeps the original as your source and analyzes up to six sampled images from a clip of up to two minutes. This analysis does not include audio and can miss events between samples. You choose the files to share; the Android share feature does not request access to your whole photo or video library.
FCC stores uploaded sources, extracted information and conversation records in its hosted services, including Supabase, so you can return to them. These records do not automatically expire when a conversation ends. Android share drafts are kept in private app storage, excluded from backup, and removed after a successful send or cancellation. Drafts older than 24 hours are removed when the share inbox is next accessed. Uninstalling the app removes its local data but does not delete content already stored in your FCC account.
OpenAI states that API content is not used to train its models by default unless the API customer opts in. Onix requests that responses not be saved as provider response history, but this does not mean zero retention: provider security logs, temporary processing and legally required retention may still apply. See OpenAI’s API data controls for its terms and exceptions. We do not promise immediate deletion from every provider system.
To request removal of Onix conversations, uploaded sources (including videos and derived images), or your full account, use Support Center → Account Deletion Request or our account deletion page. Support verifies account ownership and the scope of shared household data before handling removal. Some records may need to be retained for security or legal obligations. Deleting a child profile is a separate action and does not automatically erase all household history.
AI responses can be mistaken. Review important details and proposed changes before relying on them. Use Report response on an Onix reply to flag inappropriate or harmful output for FCC review.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers only as needed to operate FCC, deliver notifications, provide support, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
Your Choices

- You may request account deletion through the app or through our delete-account page.
